Married to Lyle Cate, and has three children, and six granchildren
Ruth attended St. Mary's School, and graduated from East Windsor High
School. Graduated from Asnuntuck Community College, and attended
the University of Hartford.
Ruth is manager of Credit Services for Lindenmeyr Munroe Paper Company
in Wallingford CT.
Ruth is active in both the Political Community and her Church. She has
served on the Inland Wetlands Commission, a Charter Revision Committee,
and was appointed to the office of Second Selectman on the passing of Joe
Marinone. She has served a total of twelve years on the WPCA. Her work
for the Church includes serving on the Finance Committee, as a Facilitator
of the Bereavement Group, and as a Eucharistic minister of the Church.
